Alauna Christian is an esteemed nursing professional with rigorous achievements over the last eleven years in health care. She attended the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2019, and graduated with respected honors with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. Also, Alauna studied at the University of Alabama - Birmingham School of Nursing to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing Degree for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in 2023. She currently works for University Health (previously known as Truman Medical Center) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. While Alauna is presently in her field of passion with mental health patients, she has extensive experience with veterans, emergency medicine, and critical care. Alauna Christian is the Founder/CEO of the non-profit organization known as Mindful Mountain Inc., established in 2020. The mission of Mindful Mountain Inc. is to decrease the stigma associated with mental health, specifically within minority communities. This organization provides individuals access to mental health resources to ensure optimal mindfulness. In the near future, Mindful Mountain Inc. will provide mental health care to patients from a team of interprofessional providers.
